The colours that really shape our Christmas

Christmas by Colour began in 2008 as an exploration into the colours people actually associate with Christmas. Tired of the usual reds, whites and greens, Salford design studio Raw asked people around the world to name their own Christmas colour and what it meant to them.

Nearly a thousand suggestions later, the best made it onto the Nice List and a limited-edition, Pantone-inspired A1 poster, with profits going to the charity C.A.L.M. The following year, a public vote chose twelve all-time favourites to become a set of Christmas cards.
